We have just one poochey now, Choco

**Sad Note**

We lost our precious Akita to kidney failure in December, 2005.  It broke my heart, oh my, how I miss that special little gal.

***********

This inquisitive (no... down right nosey) gal is Akita She can not stand to not know what is going on every second She also misses Buddy very much, the two were inseparable. always running and playing tug of war with a sock, or just wrestling around...

*Side Note*  My sweet KeeKee (Akita) lost her sight back in October 2002.  But she is such a trooper, never missed a beat.  She continued to use the doggie door, go up and down the steps, walk around the house and in her area outside just as if she could still see just fine.  She is quite special in every sense of the word.  She still loves to play and has found her own unique ways of adapting when playing with her balls or one of her other toys :-)

She immediately broaden her "vocabulary" and learned various new words we have adapted in order to warn her of certain things in her path.

Here is Choco!!
Finally got a couple of shots of him :)

My Buddy Kilo

I Found It!! I have searched for this picture of Buddy for a while now! Now you can see my buddy so good :-) I love all my pups so much, and miss them terribly, but there was such a unique bond with Buddy and me. When my dad died and I was so upset, he knew...and was so affectionate and loving.
My little Huggy Pup...how I miss him, but am so grateful for the time I had with him.

Me and Buddy

Benji and Prissy are two other special one's too, they are no longer with us either. At one time all five of these wonderful pups were creating chaos around this place :)

BENJI
Benji lived to be an "old timer".
He was given to us at 5 weeks old.
A birthday present to my son, David,
from his Cub Scout Master. He was
very set in his ways and while very
loving, he also had a grumpy side
to him as well :-)He was with us
about 15 years, sadly we said goodbye
to him last year, but he is still
remembered and loved very much

Prissy was special in her own right.
We rescued her from a neglectful
situation and she quickly became
a loving and loyal member of our
family. She was with us for around
eight years. She was a very affectionate
little lady and very attuned to those
around her. Prissy carried a lot of emotions
and understood them as well.
She was loved and is missed.

Below are some snapshots..Sadie is a playmate of Kita's that we "babysit" sometimes :-)

Just this side of Heaven is a place called ...

RAINBOW  BRIDGE

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing:
they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross together,...  Rainbow Bridge..."                                 (Anonymous)
